Ashmid et al v. City of New York et al
Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff while he was in the front yard of a friend's home and when Plaintiff asked if they had a warrant to enter, Defendant Officer Douglas grabbed him, hit him with a baton, put him in a chokehold, pepper sprayed him, and assaulted him and his girlfriend. Plaintiff 1 was being put in an ambulance when Plaintiff 2 was asked to record the incident. Officers then assaulted Plaintiff 2, arrested him, took him to the 102nd precinct, and charged him with disorderly conduct, which was later dismissed. Plaintiff 1 had unspecified charges filed against him that were also later dismissed.
