Vazquez v. The City of New York et al
Plaintiff was arrested in downtown Brooklyn on January 15, 2016. He was told by the arresting officers that P.O. Green had questions to ask him and was transferred to the 75th precinct. P.O. Green told the plaintiff that he would be in two lineups despite the plaintiff's wish to not do that. Green also refused the plaintiff's request to have a lawyer present. Plaintiff was forced to remove his prescription glasses and put on a durag and a royal blue T-shirt. As a result, he was positively identified as the perpetrator of a gunpoint robbery, charged with armed robbery, and placed under arrest. He was later released without appearing in front of a judge because the DA declined to prosecute.
