Suit regarding the wrongful conviction of Plaintiff due to false statements by unreliable informants, suppression of evidence, and inadequate police investigation. Plaintiff was convicted of kidnapping in the first and second degree. Appellate Court confirmed his conviction in 1995 and Plaintiff filed a Motion to Vacate Conviction in 2010. The court initially denied the motion to vacate, but the decision was reversed by the appellate court. The appellate court found that the prosecution had violated Brady and vacated Plaintiff's conviction.
