John v. The City of New York et al
Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff on the street without provocation and assaulted him before and after handcuffing him, and took him to the 77th precinct, where Defendant Officer Swofford alleged that Plaintiff swung at him. All charges against plaintiff were later dismissed and sealed. A few months later, Defendant Officers Fenton and Burnett ran after Plaintiff, attacked him, handcuffed him, and put him in a chokehold. Plaintiff was brought to the 77th Precinct and charges with various crimes that were later dismissed and sealed.
