Charles v. The City of New York et al

Summary

Plaintiff was sleeping at his friend's house when his neighbor woke him up at night telling him that his mom's house (few floor above) had cops. Plaintiff then went up to his mother's house and inquiries what was going on. Upon knowing that plaintiff was the son of the owner, plaintiff was arrested, together with his mom and brother who lived in the house. Plaintiff was then brought the precinct where he was charged with possession of marijuana. All charges were dismissed later.
