Golds v. City of New York et al.
Defendant officers requested plaintiff's identification information and vehicle registration information while plaintiff was walking on the street; plaintiff complied. Defendant officers physically assaulted plaintiff, searched him, arrested him and handcuffed him. Plaintiff was transported to police service area #2. Plaintiff was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration among other charges. The case was adjourned in contemplation of dismissal. On February 4th 2013, plaintiff was pulled over by the same defendant officers who searched his person, arrested him, transported him the 79th precinct and performed a strip search. Plaintiff was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana. All charges were dismissed. An April 9 2013 around 11:30 PM, same defendant officers pulled plaintiff over and searched his vehicle and person. Defendant officers arrested plaintiff, handcuffed him, transported him to the 75th precinct, and charged him with unlawful possession of marijuana, and fleeing from an officer in a motor vehicle. The case was adjourned in contemplation of dismissal. On April 3 2014, defendant officers arrested plaintiff for allegedly selling oil from his vehicle. Defendant officers physically assaulted plaintiff causing injury and transported him the 73rd precinct. Plaintiff was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration among other charges. All charged were dismissed.
